Higgins Memorial Home, at 20 Center Street in Freehold, has been family-owned and operated for over half a century. Since our founding in 1954, renovations to the funeral home have taken place to better serve our growing community. A few of the renovations include the expansion of our parking facility and easier accessibility for handicapped persons.

Our facility was created by joining two independent structures.

We are proud of the fact that Higgins is a family-owned and operated funeral home. This means we can offer a selection of traditional funeral services and cremation options that meet the needs of the Western Monmouth community – our community. And because we are members of this community and have been for generations, we are familiar with the memorial practices of all faiths and ethnic groups.

Many of our staff are members of several major, professional associations in the funeral profession and have been honored by membership in the Select Independent Funeral Homes. This international association of funeral homes recognizes outstanding service to families and community.
